In Education, video games on October 28, 2010 at 3:31 am

There’s a brand new middle school in New York that uses the world of video games to create a system for kids to learn from. The idea is to teach traditional school standards in an untraditional way. The result is not only the most Awesome-est idea ever (journalism at its finest here) but also an idea that could tear down the barrier between “I want to learn” and “school is boring.”

Check out the New York Times article/video here and here. It’s pretty inspiring stuff. Personally, it’s a career game changer.
